Mauritius is a country in Southern Africa with a population of 1.3 million. There is limited information on digital rights in Mauritius however information on internet use shows that it has a great prospect to improve its digital rights landscape. Mauritania has several private newspapers, television stations, and radio stations in operation. However, journalists who cover sensitive topics may face harassment.
